The Calf-O-Tel Totalsystem is a hutched breeding system for calves from 0-6 months.
The outstanding hutch and fence design ensures that maximum animal welfare and growth is achieved with minimal labour input.
The box type enclosure on all types stands outside because of the strong durable material from which it is made. The surrounding patented fence is available as part of a complete package or sold separately.
The system offers 4 models to accommodate single calf occupancy and up to 10 calves, with a variety of extra accessories to cover all eventualities.
Calf -O-Tel- Small
The Calf-O-Tel Small is ideal for rearing individual calves up to two weeks old outdoors.
Strengths:
- Unique patented fencing

- Made from polyester which guarantees longevity and a comfortable shadow temperature in summer
- Smooth interior wall makes for easier cleaning
- Hardwood threshold keeps bedding in the box
User friendly fence:
- The front fence can be removed and placed across the box opening to lock the calf in. This allows the remaining fence to be removed to allow for cleaning of the area in front of the box
- Highly mobile due to mounted wheels on the underside of the box. The entire unit can be moved with the calf inside
Calf-O-Tel Comfort
Similar to the Calf-O-Tel Small but slightly larger to accommodate the rearing of calves up to 10 weeks old. The increase in size allows for the calf to lie deeper in the box with greater protection. It is also high enough to allow the user to work inside to assist the calf to stand for example.
The Calf-O-Tel Comfort’s strengths and user friendly fence are identical to the slightly smaller Calf-O-Tel Small.
Calf-O-Tel XL
The Calf-O-Tel XL is for use by up to 5 calves, up to an age of 3 to 4 months.
It is the ideal follow up to individual boxes and encourages healthy growth in a group environment.
The XL has the same attributes as the smaller individual boxes.
Calf-O- Tel XXL
The largest calf hutch with a capacity of up to 10 calves. The complete unit comes with 10 bucket rings, as opposed to 1 and 5 respectively in the other options. The fence area is 290cm x 450cm x 105cm which can accommodate the maximum internal capacity of up to 10 calves.
The XXL has the same attributes as other hutches in the system.
