These conditions shall apply to the exclusion of all or any condition stipulated by a customer of R.E. Buildings Ltd, except in as far as R.E. Buildings Ltd (hereinafter called 'The Company') may agree to any variation thereof.
The estimate price is based on the cost of the materials, transport and the cost of labour, ruling at the date of estimate. Any authorised increases in the cost will be chargeable to the customer, unless we specify a fixed term, holding the estimate price firm.
The customer is to ensure that the whole working area and access thereto shall be suitable for heavy goods vehicles, with adequate safe storage space for the company's materials in the immediate vicinity. The site shall be free of obstructions and have a firm and a reasonably smooth surface, suitable for two-wheeled drive pneumatic tyred crane. Any charges arising from sites found to be unsuitable will be invoiced at the conclusion of the contract.
The Company shall be under no liability whatsoever for any damage to hidden or underground services or obstruction whatsoever, unless the customer shall have been given express written notice of their existence and position before excavation began.
The Company assumes that there are no overhead obstructions and that all electrical cables and other services shall be removed to enable the site works to proceed with unimpeded continuity.
The customer is to supply unlimited water and electricity during the contract period at a point close to the site.
The Customer will make available welfare facilities for the Contractor's employees.
Kit delivery as far as hard road permits or at the absolute discretion of our driver. Our driver is alone and therefore requires assistance to unload.
Any delivery dates quoted are only provisional and the Company cannot be held responsible for damages etc., caused by late delivery.
Estimates for groundwork and foundations are based on normal clay sub soil. Therefore, if for any reason the foundations need to be amended or difficult ground conditions are encountered the company may increase the estimate price, as necessary.
No allowance has been made for removal of spoil from foundation holes and is the responsibility of the customer.
In the event of the customer desiring to cancel, the customer shall notify the Company in writing and shall pay the Company by way of liquidated or agreed damages, a sum equal to the cost of materials and labour incurred.
All materials and equipment supplied by the Company shall remain the property of the Company until paid for in full. No responsibility will be taken for measurements supplied by the customer.
This estimate does not include Value Added Tax, which will be added at the current rate, where applicable.
