21 New Stock Buildings, Chorley, Lancs
United Utilities

Project Background

As part of a Sustainable Catchment Management Programme, (SCaMP), water company United Utilities has invested over £22m, working with its farm tenants, improving the farm infrastructure, protecting and improving water quality, woodland management and moorland restoration. R.E. Buildings are proud to be a part of this process.

At R.E. Buildings animal welfare and the environment has always been at the forefront of all our designs and builds and since 2012 we have provided 21 new stock buildings to United Utilities, which as part of their initiative,  has allowed moorland restoration grazing regimes to be implemented.

Along with the buildings we build and erect, R.E. Buildings have also done the groundworks, refurbishment of buildings and provided internal equipment.

It pays to do your research and go with a company with the right history, knowledge and expertise in the farm building industry. R.E. Buildings have proved we made the right choice.

Andrew Hill, Sludge Hall Farm, Leicester

R.E. Buildings are very knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating to suit individual needs. No job is too small or big for them. My new building has met all my requirements and expectations, is value for money, and well worth investment.

Mick Holt, Goosnargh, Lancashire

I approached R.E. Buildings because of the high quality of their farm buildings. They have been very helpful and demonstrated professionalism on all aspects of the project. We have subsequently forwarded a further nine buildings.
